  • While my wife visited the shops I took a stroll down the hill to your sanctuary thinking there would only be a few birds but I was amazed at the differant breeds you had and it was all free to see them. I picked up an information booklet and an adoption leaflet and as soon as the children deside on the name of an owl you will hear from us again, but next time we visit I hope its warmer and drier.

  • Great visit, very cold but coming from Scotland I was used to it. Hope you get all the worked done before the summer.

  • This is my bampa Jones owl sanctuary, we love him and he has two barn owls named after us. We love to visit which is not very often as we live so far away, but he comes to visit us when he can get someone to look after the owls.He works very hard to look after the owls and the sanctuary with the help of Luke, Richard and Mathew. Its lovely set in the valley of Ebbw Vale and in the park. We dont have the chance to visit anywhere like this in London. We love you Bampa

  • Great few hours spent at the owl sanctuary. Have been a few times over the years while visiting relatives and at differant seasons of the year. The spring is nice with the baby owls but from April when the weather is dry is the best time when I can hold an owl. You have done a lot of work since my first visit keep it up and well done to Malcolm and his dedicated crew of young men who give up most of their spare time to help him ;-)

  • Love the owls (especially the barnies - I'm going to adopt one!) and the website.
I'll add a link to it from the Ebbw Vale RFC website if that's ok with you! Let me know.

  • What a wonderful discovery on Easter Monday. This is an asset the community should cherish and treasure rather than trying to destroy it. I can't believe you don't charge for entry. I would gladly pay to experience such wondeful birds and your excellent and helpful staff. I've started a campaign on Facebook to try to help and also signed your petition. best of luck
