  • An excellent facility doing excellent work. Children truly enjoyed. Malcolm and the team make you feel very welcome and his knowledge is second to none. Keep up the good work. We will be visiting each time we go to festival park.

  • This is a wonderful place we would highly recommend visiting. Had a lovely afternoon seeing all the beautiful owls and other birds here, got some lovely photos. We got to hold and stroke some of the owls and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again.

  • Fabulous few hours spent with the team in the sanctuary, thank you VERY much. We brought Sarah, from California, to see and handle the owls and that's exactly what she got, to handle, hold and touch owls and raptors, making it a perfect day for her. Thank you to everyone who took the time to chat and spend time with us. I got some great pictures and I'll be back on a better day for more.

  • Really well looked after birds, friendly staff. A pleasure to visit, and my wife was happy because she got to hold an Eagle Owl. If it was closer, would come here often. Thank you to Malcom and his team. Highly recommended.

  • i personally think this owl sanctuary is very helpful and important so we can keep these beautiful creation safe. i have a really good soft spot for all types of owls especially barn and tawny owls. i thought it was interesting watching me holding the eagle owl and saying post and it flew to it's post.
    i give this sanctuary 9/10

  • I have a soft spot for Owls - which I seem to have passed onto my two children - and it was a privilege to be able to visit the Owl Sanctuary with my family and hold an Eagle Owl for the first time. The staff were lovely. Although donations were welcome, what surprised and impressed me was there was no actually charge to enter or hold an Owl, leaving the visitor to decide what kind of donation they wanted to leave. My favourite moment was watching an owl following a fly that entered it's cage. Owl's can't move their eyes so it was fun watching it follow the fly around by moving it's head.

  • An end to a lovely day, a lucky find of the Owl sanctuary, the extremely freindly and informative staff were great, we together with our daughter witnessed feeding time and learnt a lot about the very impressive birds of prey, a fantastic venue that is in our opinion deserves better public promotion as more people need to be made aware what these guys do.. Fab job will well reccommend a visit could be a first class tourist attraction coupled a hidden gem a stones throw away from a busy retail and leisure venue.
