  • I love the Owl sanctuary, I have visited it many time with my family and am never tired of it..

I can't believe it is run on donations..

It is a pity and makes me VERY angry  a certain person (S.S.) thinks it their duty to interfere and try to destroy it. All for a council that shall remain nameless who wish to take the success for their own....!!!

  • I visited Festival Park for the first time today (for the shopping) and did not realise The sanctuary was there. Haveing looked through your web site very little seems to have been updated for over a year. Are you still in buisness? and will we have any events that we can look forward to in 2009?

  • i read the story in the paper, the RSPCA dont know shit they shouldnt of took two healthy birds from your care they dont even agree with reptiles and they need more training. i hope things go well and as long as you following the law for animal health they shouldnt be able to do shit.
    good luck with everything.

  • I was horrified to read this story in the Gazette. I hope it all works out for you. The Santuary is an amazing place I hope to be able to visit you for many years to come.

  • Dear Malcolm & Co

I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel for you and your colleagues after this terrible ordeal you have been through. Our best wishes to you at this difficult time.

  • I use to live in ebbw vale and visited the owl sanctuary on a regular basis its a beautiful place run by great people who have a passion for the owls they look after. Its a magnificant place for children to learn and helped my son appreciate birds and understand what it means to help animals

  • My husband and I came to Ebbw Vale specifically to visit the owl sanctuary. We are so glad we did. It is a wonderful place and should be given funds from the local council to help run it. It does an amazing service for local birds of prey. An unwanted eagle owl was dropped off when we were there and I so wish I could of taken it home with me. We keep Owls ourselves and we love them to bits. Malcolm you are an amazing person! Thank You

  • Enjoyed another visit to this wonderful place with my daughter now in her twenties but she has been coming here as long as I have. Keep up the good work and I think its about time that Ebbw Vale council and the Welsh Tourist Board realise what a gem this place is! I never go to the fesitval park just to shop, the Owl Sanctuary is always my reason for coming to Ebbw Vale. This place deserves every recognition for what it does on limited funds!! Well done!

  • Interesting visit to the Owl sanctuary today, seen you guys about at various events too!
I'm trying to upload 3 owl pictures I got but cannot find a 'register' option on here to add them to the gallery!
I'd appreciate it if you could let me know, and then possibly ID the 3 Owls so I can name my photographs!
