- I recently visited the Owl Sanctuary for the first time with my 3 year old son. We both absolutely loved it - and we both got to hold Patricia the Barn Owl. - I LOVE this place. Malcolm and everyone else are so kind and helpful, and the birds are breathtaking! Much better than the shopping centre itself, hehe. - We visited the owl sanctuary on Sunday and were really impressed! It had loads to see and we were guided around by Mathew who really knew his sfuff. Well done to you all there and keep up the good work!

- We loved the Owl Sanctuary. Mathew gave us a fantastic guided tour and his knowledge of the owls and birds of prey really made the visit worthwhile.
The Owl sanctaury is a credit to all of the individuals involved who dedicate their spare time on a voluntary basis to provide this sanctaury for anyone to attend.
We'll visit again soon and also try to meetup again at one of the events planned for later in the year.

- I'm from Ebbw vale and today was my first time to visit the sanctuary. These birds I saw today are absolutely beautiful! The area that they are housed is set in a woodland so that it looks so natural and the condition and welfare of these beautiful animals is second to none!! The sanctuary is not funded in any way and the time and devotion these great people who look after these birds is really inspirational. I will be visiting as much as possible and donating cash to make sure that our precious wild birds who don't make it in the wild get a second chance to survive.

- My husband and I came to Ebbw Vale specifically to visit the owl sanctuary. We are so glad we did. It is a wonderful place and should be given funds from the local council to help run it. It does an amazing service for local birds of prey. An unwanted eagle owl was dropped off when we were there and I so wish I could of taken it home with me. We keep Owls ourselves and we love them to bits. Malcolm you are an amazing person! Thank You

- Enjoyed another visit to this wonderful place with my daughter now in her twenties but she has been coming here as long as I have. Keep up the good work and I think its about time that Ebbw Vale council and the Welsh Tourist Board realise what a gem this place is! I never go to the fesitval park just to shop, the Owl Sanctuary is always my reason for coming to Ebbw Vale. This place deserves every recognition for what it does on limited funds!! Well done!

- While my wife visited the shops I took a stroll down the hill to your sanctuary thinking there would only be a few birds but I was amazed at the differant breeds you had and it was all free to see them. I picked up an information booklet and an adoption leaflet and as soon as the children deside on the name of an owl you will hear from us again, but next time we visit I hope its warmer and drier.

in the Ebbw Valley.
